At Sundance Yoga Studio, we’ve added Aerial Dance and Fitness Classes to our offerings in Pearland! Not only is it an awesome workout that builds your flexibility and strength, but it’s a fantastic way to incorporate dance, play, and exploration to your daily routine. We are proud to invite people of all skill levels to learn with us in Pearland.
In our Aerial Dance and Fitness Classes, we use long, beautiful silks to climb, stretch, dance, and explore body movement. This sport is a way to build strength and flexibility, grow your confidence and curiosity, and have an amazing time doing it. We explore dance to a wide variety of music.
Aerial Dance – on Silks – A beautiful artwork and a wonderful physical workout. Gain upper body & core strength, while learning aerial dance techniques including climbs, locks, and midair movements. Class starts with mild conditioning and stretching.
Aerial Fitness – This class is conditioning-focused using the aerial hammock and silks. The skills we condition are upper body strength, lower body strength, grip strength, stamina, and endurance. This class typically sticks to aerial silks basics. We typically do basic aerial moves and climbs to build strength, endurance, and flexibility. Suited for all levels.
Flexibility – This class is used to build strength, mobility, and flexibility. The intention of this session is to build the skills to last over time. Each session will focus on one main thing. Upper Body, Lower Body. Take your time and trust the process with us.
