Yoga near Friendswood and Pearland

Stephanie Ramirez

Stephanie’s classes are focused and guided by breath and presence. She encourages her students to be patient in their practice and not to rush through it. She believes that taking time to breathe and feel each pose is the best way to connect to ourselves. She trusts that when we connect to our breath we connect to our power and by connecting our power we let go of our fears. Stephanie truly believes in connecting the mind, body, and soul and that is exactly what yoga is; she believes there is something to take and gain from every practice and what we decide to do with that is up to us. Her motto in life is -“Life Is-Exploring. Questioning. ExperiencIng. Absorbing every bit of beauty that surrounds us-breathe it in and soak it up. Appreciate all God gives us... life, truth, and love.”

Stephanie was introduced to yoga in 2002 and practiced on and off for years. In 2013, after years of internal and external struggles, yoga, opened something deep inside her soul. There was an energetic-spiritual shift. She dove deeper into her practice and realized this was something she wanted to share with others.

Stephanie did her RYT500 (Hatha and Vinyasa) and a 100 hour Yin yoga training at Yoga One Studios in Houston under the teachings of Roger and Albina Rippy along many workshops and trainings with Ricky Tran, Ana Forest and Robert Boustany among others. Stephanie teaches mindfulness and yoga in mental health and at substance abuse facilities; while she also volunteers with Harris County Juvenile Detention Center sharing her practice, meditation and love.
